Each year the PTO sponsors a Secret Santa Shop. During this special three day event, students visit the shop to purchase presents for family, friends and pets. Special "Elf Helpers" aid the younger students with their shopping lists. The Secret Santa Shop is also open to the congregation, familes and community during none school hours. Once the students have purchased their desired items they wrap and label them so they are ready to go under the tree. The studentslook firward to this event every year as they enjoy the opprtunity to shop and surprise their loved ones.
The PTO event coordinators enjoy designing and creating special decor for the enjoyment of students, staff and visitors. Many hours can go into the displays and are accomplished by many hands working together.
A small example of the intensive work put into these displays are shown on this page. The tree hanging above was hand crafted with yarn, a lot of patience, time and love. The paper snowflakes were all cut out individually. The large snowmen were also made from paper by hand. The smaller snowmen and colorful snowflakes were created by hand from foam sheets.
Our goal is to always set an inviting, fun and inspiring look to each event. We encourage and invite everyone to join us and be part of the magic. You can contact a PTO board member for information on volunteering for the event of your choice. Much of the highlighted work was completed at home so everyone has the opportunity to help bring these wonderful events to our students.
