Hot Lunch
The items we serve will be store bought and will not have any type of nuts including peanut butter in them. Some of the store bought snacks we may use have a notation that they may have been produced on machinery that was in contact with peanuts. Some also contain wheat or wheat products. We also try to use fresh fruits and vegetables such as grapes, strawberries, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc... but may offer pre-packaged items such as applesauce or peaches.
If food allergies are a concern for your child, please contact Debbie or Amy ASAP so that we can add them to our allergy alert list. All information is kept private and we will substitute a safe item for the one your child is allergic too.

Currently the PTO is not offering a hot lunch program for the 2012-2013 school year. If you are interested in the return of the two day program please contact the PTO.
We will instead offer the sale of “Nibbles” Monday through Thursday as help is available. These items include but are not limited to fruits, chips, yogurt, veggies, cold bottles of water, etc… We do not offer any type of candy or soft drinks. The cost of the extra items are 50¢ per item and 25¢ for water.

The PTO Hot Lunch Program is a self-sufficient service not a fundraiser. By averaging our costs we have been able to provide a well portioned meal at a reasonable cost. As we do not receive any subsidies keeping the cost down depends on having enough averaged ordered lunches. In exchange for volunteering your time you will receive some great fellowship, a meal and a volunteer raffle ticket for each hour you serve.
We are in need of moms, dads, grandparents, etc… who will be willing to assist with the lunches. Each lunch requires a minimum of 3 people to serve. Volunteering involves setting up two tables and serving food to the children. You will need to be at school from 11:00a to 12:30p.

Important Notice:
ALLERGY ALERT:
It is the PTO policy to feed any child who does not have a lunch when we are made aware of it.
If your child forgets their lunch please contact us as soon as possible. We may have to substitute what we offer your child on days that we order food but rest assured we will provide them with food and you can send in the payment the next school day.
